RWS Christmas

End your year off right with fun-filled activities, without having to spend a bomb or to squeeze with insane crowds at wild parties or parades. Yes, it is actually possible to enjoy this year’s year-end festivities, without having to deal with all of that.

How, you might ask? There are so many activities happening in the next two months, but we hand-picked five of our favourites that will cater to just about anybody! Some activities are great for families, some are just right for a romantic date out with your special someone.

Here are 5 Fun & Festive Activities You Can Do This Year-End 2015.

Hermes Exhibition

#1 ARTSCIENCE MUSEUM – HERMÈS LEATHER FOREVER EXHIBITION

From now until 13 December 2015, visit the ArtScience Museum for an exhibition that is free of admission charges. Showcasing a very in-depth and personal take on one of the finest luxury brands in the world, Hermès, this enthralling exhibition will lead you in to the world of the honorary making and stitching of the world’s most coveted French bags.

We were almost floating in dreamland as we walked from one hall to the other. You can even have fun riding mechanical horses, and race your friends in an adorable display. Touch, feel and experience the insane quality of the leathers used by Hermès. Luxury at its finest, and is surely one exhibition not to be missed!

#2 CHIJMES – CHRISTMAS POP-UP MARKET

If you are thinking of picking up some cool Christmas-related crafts or small treats, head down to CHIJMES for their annual Christmas Pop-Up Market that is happening from 13 November to 24 December 2015.

Well, even if you have nothing in mind to buy, you can choose to browse through the lawn and just enjoy the fun spirit of this holiday season.

Ghost The MusicalImage: Marina Bay Sands

#3 MARINA BAY SANDS – GHOST THE MUSICAL

Nothing screams “Romantic date!” better than a fancy musical at Marina Bay Sands’ Mastercard Theatres. This re-adaptation of the Oscar-winning movie is acclaimed by critics to be both magical and visually stunning.

The play will only be happening from 4 November to 15 November 2015, so you should grab your tickets as soon as you can!

Boat Light Parade 2015Image: ONE15

 #4 ONE15 – CHRISTMAS BOAT LIGHT PARADE

On 20 and 21 November 2015, watch as the Club and the route towards Sentosa Boardwalk light up in brilliant lights, together with huge yachts and boats on display. This annual affair will have you being either a spectator, or as a proud owner of one of those lit-up boats/ yachts on display (join the light display for a small fee).

With lights this pretty, wouldn’t it be a glamourous night to enjoy?

Snowfall RWSImage: Resorts World Sentosa

#5 UNIVERSAL STUDIOS SINGAPORE – SNOWFALL

Let’s face it – it will never snow in Singapore and the closest we can probably get to frolicking in powdery ice is at Universal Studios Singapore’s snowy Christmas celebrations. When in the park, just head to Hollywood, New York and Sci Fi zones, and you can expect a very frequent display of 10 shows daily (every hour).

The theme park will have extended hours until 9pm for the entirety of this period.
